Subject: Progress Report- Journey to College
Over these past four years, my journey to college has progressed. Even though I was only a freshman, I was already thinking about my life as a college student. So these are my steps to being a successful college student. Some, I have already completed, the others will be completed before graduation.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
So far in high school I have passed all of my classes with a C+ or higher. I did take summer school every summer in between school years. Taking summer sessions more often than others let me get ahead on my credits while most students are or were behind. I have earned 215 of my 220 credits.
GOALS
What I still need to do to graduate is to complete my Economics class and my World Writing class to fill my necessary graduation requirements. So far, in these classes, I have turned in every assignment and scored high on all of my tests/quizzes up to this point. As long as I focus, filling these requirements shouldn’t be a problem.
LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL
After high school, I definitely plan to attend college the following fall. My first priorities will be to finish all of my general education so I can begin schooling for my future career. I plan to be a psychologist in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). One day in the future, after I become licensed, I plan to have my own practice and have many patients who are satisfied with my work.
All in all, I wrote this to you so you could tell me if I was on the right route to a successful career. Thank you for your counseling. It has truly inspired me to do some counseling of my own.
